The Prairie Harbor Yacht Club is proud to be a Member in Good Standing with the Yachting Club of America. Current YCA Members are entitled to reciprocity benefits at over 700 Yacht and Sailing Clubs throughout the United States, Alaska, Hawaii, and the Virgin Islands.  PHYC Members enjoy these reciprocity benefits, and PHYC happily extends those same benefits to the over 300,000 members of YCA registered Yacht & Sailing Clubs!

The YCA was founded in 1963 as the first National Association of Yachtsmen and Yacht Clubs, and was designed to "serve the advancement of yachting." Did you know that John Wayne was one of the founding members? The YCA is also publisher of the annual "Register of American Yacht Clubs," the Reciprocity Guide (a copy of which is available for viewing in the PHYC office), and the oldest existing Yacht Club register in America.
